Archery should be a safe and enjoyable sport for you. Green Dragon Bowmen is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all of our members. At GDB we adopt all of Archery GB’s polices and procedures relating to safeguarding. Full details can be found on Archery GB’s website.
At all times, our members, coaches, administrators and parents should show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.
Members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns that they may have about any aspect of the club with the Club Welfare Officer.
Our club should offer a positive experience where members can take part and develop their skills in a safe and positive environment.
All members of this club are expected to abide by the Codes of Conduct.
Archery should be safe and enjoyable for everyone. Archery GB is committed to the safeguarding of Children, Young People and Adults at Risk. All concerns will be taken seriously and only the professionals who need to know will be informed.

Reporting a Concern
If someone is in immediate danger call 999. If there is not an immediate danger talk to the Club’s Child Protection Officer. If you feel unable to talk to the Child Protection Officer, talk to one of the Club’s Executive Committee. If you feel unable to speak to the above or you are not happy with their handling of the situation contact Archery GB or the local authority.
