We are not able to run our traditional 500 competition this year due to the complications of organisation caused by Covid. However, we have decided to run a ‘500’ style competition purely for Green Dragon Bowmen members. For new members, this means that we shoot a Portsmouth round indoors, which is 5 dozen arrows shot at 20 yards on a 60cm face.
We plan to do this on Saturday 13th November, during our usual shooting time. Please aim to arrive at the beginning of the session (12:30) to help us set up and sighters will be at 1pm. Medals will be awarded for Compound, Recurve, Barebow and Longbow Seniors, Juniors of all ages, Ladies, Gents and Non-binary.
If you are new to the club, this will be a great opportunity to see how an archery competition runs – please do take part as all experience levels are encouraged, it’s great experience and not too serious! There will be no coaching on that day.
