Open coaching is for everyone
Whether you have just come off a beginners’ course or you have been shooting for years.
Dates term 1: Fridays: 7 & 21 October, 4 & 18 November, 2 & 16 December 2022
Venue: Loreto College Gym, Upper Lattimore Rd, St Albans, AL1 3NU
Coaching fees:
Adults – £8 per session or £42 for all 6 sessions
Juniors – £4 per session or £18 for all 6 sessions
Places per session: 14 (2 archers to a boss)
All sessions must be booked in advance.
The Coaches will mainly be senior, county or level 2.
Open coaching sessions were well attended last winter, and we expect there to be a high demand for places this year.
Whilst you can still come on an ad-hoc basis we would encourage block booking of all sessions (initially available for term 1). You get a discount in price, but more importantly you will be taken through a more planned approach to improving your archery, with the time in between sessions to practice what you have learned.
The initial focus will be on technique, then equipment, followed in the spring by mental approach. So, for example, at the first session there will be a review of each archer’s basic technique in order to identify key areas for development. Skills and drills will be introduced as these have proven to be effective for all archers, not just those at elite level.

State how many places and whether junior or senior.
You will be sent details of how to pay by bank transfer.
All payments must be made by Friday 23rd September.
After this date Eventbrite will be opened up for one-off bookings of remaining places.
