This weekend we had a go at our first Head to Head style Club competition which was organised by Harry. The morning saw us shooting in four groups, and by lunchtime we’d had an impressive trick shot and knocked each other out leaving only 8 to go into the rounds in the afternoon. The next round brought it’s own drama with a draw in one match leading to a ‘shoot off’ end! The team spirit was again evident with everyone staying to cheer on the final four. As ever we were fuelled by excellent cakes and it was great to have beginners and experienced archers able to compete with each other thanks to the handicap system. Thank you so much to Harry for sorting out a very smooth running day and to everyone who got involved.
